Squad History
Reeds Spring has a rich cheer history, with a mix of coed teams and all-girl, the path was paved by many successful alumni. The roster of impactful coaches is filled with those who elicit special memories for many. Here is a place to recognize these individuals who gave us our foundation.
Coaches Steph and Jill have grown the squad from 10 members to over 20 members over the course of 2 seasons. They are excited to see how far the growth will take the squad in the upcoming years.

Wolves Cheer History
Wolves Cheer added competing in the late 90s with Coach Tamara White. She was followed by other coaches, Gay Bates, Kerry Walker, Jennifer Mitchell who carried on competing until the 2012 season.
Wolves cheer placed in the 3A show division regionals: 1995 5th, 1996 3rd, 1997 4th, 1998 1st , 2000 3rd, 2001 3rd. In the 4A Large category wolves cheer placed in 2003 2nd, 2004 3rd, 2005 2nd, 2006, 3rd, 2007 3rd, 2008 4th, 2009 4th (4A Small), 2010 1st, and 2012 2nd in the (Co-Ed Small Division).
Wolves cheer placed at State in 3A Show division, in 1997 and 1998 and once again in 2010 they placed 5th in the 4A Large Division.

Cheer took a short pause in competing until under Coaches Carin Love & Rachel Pryor, in the 2017 Season they placed 3rd at Regionals.
Under Coaches Steph Bekebrede and Maddi Weaver, in the 2021-22 Season, they placed 4th in the State of the 3A Small Division.

Under Coaches Steph Bekebrede and Jill Rodriguez they placed 9th in State of the 2A Large Traditional Competition. There were 2 All State Recipents. There were 5 Academic All State Recipents. They placed 5th in Band Chant, 8th in Timeout and 10th in Fight Song for the 2A Game Day Division.

For the 2023-24 season they placed 10th in State of the 3A Small Traditional Competition. There were 6 All State Recipients from the Squad as well as 3 Academic All State Recipients. They placed 4th in Timeout, 1st in Bandchant, 2nd in Fight Song and 2nd overall for the 3A Game Day Division (missing 1st by 1.4 points).
